The ideal candidate will possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a customer service role
- Experience in flooring industry preferred
- Experience with operating in a customer service capacity to assist sales staff and customers with orders, purchases, questions, and problems
- Experience in multi-tasking in a high-volume customer service call center
- Ability to receive orders by phone, fax, and email, and enter orders into computer system to be sent to shipping and/or purchasing department(s)
- Ability to retain superior product knowledge
- Ability to provide full cycle customer service including: orders, billing questions, shipping information, confirming orders, lead times, and follow up
- Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office
- Excellent data entry skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy
